Governance | Anti-Bribery Policy

Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited is committed to acting fairly, ethically and with integrity in all territories in which the Company does business.

The policy of Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited is not to engage in or tolerate bribery in any form within the Company’s organisation or within organisations that the Company does business with.

Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited has noted the coming into force of the UK Bribery Act 2010 (“the Act”) on 1 July 2011 and the UK Government Guidance that has been published to assist organisations with their implementation of adequate procedures to prevent bribery occurring.

In the light of these developments, Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited has commissioned an appropriate formal Anti-Bribery Policy, the implementation of which will be completed in the near future.

All officers and staff will be required to comply with our Anti-Bribery Policy and, where practicable, we expect all third parties whom we engage to do business on the Company’s behalf to take account of our Anti-Bribery Policy and to act in accordance with its provisions when carrying out work on the Company’s behalf.

The Board of Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited has overall responsibility for bribery prevention and will closely monitor the effectiveness of its Anti-Bribery Programme.
